OMISTA Credit Union's crusade for kindness

Giving back is something the OMISTA Credit Union values daily.

This fall, employees from Moncton, Oromocto and Fredericton put it into action as they embarked on their first ever Crusade for Kindness.

Focusing on their sustainability initiative, four teams of employees travelled to Moncton and Riverview to lend their support to local communities while doing random acts of kindness.

Some of those acts included bringing donations to food banks, passing out puppy treats at the park, leaving surprises for the patrons at the laundromat, supporting their local florists by buying flowers to give out to Riverview residents, washing windows of unsuspecting patrons' cars at a local service station, donating filled backpacks to local organizations who work toward eliminating homelessness and purchasing coats at the Salvation Army to donate to Coats for Kids.

Here are some photos from their successful crusade.
