After recovery from an accident limited Sean Sears and his wife from returning to their careers, the couple decided to venture into small business ownership. Unsure of their next step, one thing led to another, and after exploring the beverage industry, they decided to open a craft cidery was the natural next move: ShipBuilders Cider.

It was all about creating a craft product, made with apples from Nova Scotia’s world-famous orchards.
